ABOUT DON MOORE

I am in this business because I love being a Realtor®. I have helped a lot of people find their dream home and made many good friends along the way. Unlike many Realtors®, this is my full time job and I work very hard for my clients. They expect the best and I want them to get the best.

A real estate transaction can be very complex. In our litigious society you need someone representing you that will look after your interest, stays current with the ever changing real estate laws and regulations and frankly, knows what they are doing.

In Texas, all Realtors® are independent contractors. A Realtor's® license is held by a broker. Some brokers would like you to believe that it is the Company that makes the difference. If you have ever bought or sold a house, then you know it is the real estate agent that makes the difference. Hopefully your experience was a good one. My goal is to make it a great one.

A little about me:

bullet"A multimillion-dollar producer dedicated to providing the highest quality of personal service to meet your real estate needs."
bulletAn experienced full time Realtor with consistent sales results
bulletMember of the National Association of Realtors
bulletMember of the Texas Association of Realtors
bulletMember of the Houston Association of Realtors
bulletOver twenty years of marketing experience
bulletColdwell Banker United Rookie of the Year
bulletMember of Keller Williams Realty Sugar Land office Agent Leadership Council (ALC) 2005

bulletTexas Affordable Housing Specialist (TAHS)

My Real Estate Professionalism allows me to serve my clients with the knowledge and expertise they expect and deserve. It is my personal guarantee you will receive nothing less than my best.

You can relax knowing that I will work to make sure your home buying and selling experience meets your expectations from start to close. I stay familiar with current trends and technical
aspects of buying and selling in today’s demanding market. You can always count on me and The Home Team.

Hot tip
Don’t Move Money Around

When a lender reviews your loan package for approval, one of the things they are concerned about is the source of funds for your down payment and closing costs. Most likely, you will be asked to provide statements for the last two or three months on any of your liquid assets. This includes checking accounts, savings accounts, money market funds, certificates of deposit, stock statements, mutual funds, and even your company 401K and retirement accounts.

If you have been moving money between accounts during that time, there may be large deposits and withdrawals in some of them.

The mortgage underwriter (the person who actually approves your loan) will probably require a complete paper trail of all the withdrawals and deposits. You may be required to produce cancelled checks, deposit receipts, and other seemingly inconsequential data, which could get quite tedious.

Perhaps you become exasperated at your lender, but they are only doing their job correctly. To ensure quality control and eliminate potential fraud, it is a requirement on most loans to completely document the source of all funds. Moving your money around, even if you are consolidating your funds to make it "easier," could make it more difficult for the lender to properly document.

So leave your money where it is until you talk to a loan officer.

Oh…don’t change banks, either.
